Shore Acres is one of the more upscale neighborhoods on Staten Island. It is located on the northeaster shore of the island, east of Bay Street and south of Nautilus Street. While easily accessible from Bay Street, this area feels secluded and private. The streets are shaded by mature trees, and they become narrow as you get closer to the water front. Shore Acres offers the feel of exclusivity, as well as the breathtaking views of the harbor. It's also adjacent to the Arthur Von Briesen Park, and only a stone throw away from the Verrazano Bridge. Homes in the area range from capes, raised ranches, to older and newer colonials. The are is also home to a large cooperative apartment building at 20 Cliff Street.
