Grasmere is a neighborhood on the East Shore of Staten Island, with its boudaries set by Hylan Blvd to the east, Old Town Road to the south, Richmond Road to the west, and Staten Island expressway to the north. It's worth pointing out that some areas north of SI Expressway are also technically part of Grasmere. The neighborhood offers a variety of housing options, from townhouses/condos in the Stonegate and Hills of Grasmere communities, through semi-attached houses, ranches, colonials and large custom built homes. The area features two lakes: Grasmere Lake and Cameron Lake, which are surrounded by many spectacular homes.
The neighborhood offers a short commute to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, and features numerous local and express buses. There's also the Grasmere train station, which makes it for a quick commute to and from the Staten Island Ferry.
