Arden Heights is located on the South Shore of Staten Island, and is technically a part of Annadale neighborhood. The area's real estate is known for its large concentration of townhomes and condominiums, clustered in the communities of Village Greens and Aspen Knolls. There are also some detached and semi-attached homes in the area. Aspen Knolls development offers 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom townhomes, all set up in a tri-level configuration, with a built-in garage. All of them are relatively modern, as they were built from mid 1990's through mid 2000's. The townhomes in Village Greens vary in design, and configuration. Some are built as multi-level 3-4 bedroom homes, while others are reminiscent of a California Ranch, with open layouts and high ceilings. All of the homes in the Village Greens feature private backyards. The development was built from 1970's through 1980's. Both communities offer their own ammenities including: swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, and community centers. The Village Greens development also features a 16-acre park with open grassy fields, mature trees, walking paths and playgrounds.
